The Tour of Bright returns from 4–6 December 2026, bringing three thrilling days of elite cycling, spectacular alpine scenery and festival atmosphere to the heart of Victoria’s High Country. Hosted by the Alpine Cycling Club, this legendary multi-stage race is regarded as one of Australia’s premier amateur cycling events, attracting some of the country’s best riders alongside rising stars and seasoned competitors across ten racing categories.
The weekend begins with the exciting Friday Night Criterium through the streets of Bright, where spectators can enjoy fast-paced racing, markets, food vendors and a vibrant festival atmosphere. Saturday features the demanding Gaps Loop Road Race and a Time Trial in the picturesque Buckland Valley, while Sunday’s spectacular finale finishes with the iconic climb to the historic Mount Buffalo Chalet. New for 2026 are a community Tour of Bright Fondo and an Opening Night Dinner supporting the Junior Development Scholarship, making the event even more enjoyable for competitors, spectators and cycling enthusiasts alike.
