Metal in the Mountains roars back into Beechworth from 13 to 15 November 2026, bringing a powerful wave of heavy music to one of Victoria’s most picturesque historic towns. Set against the striking backdrop of the Old Beechworth Courthouse, this open-air event transforms the quiet streets into a hub of raw energy, underground culture and community spirit. Presented by Padded Cell Productions and BMF Productions, the festival has built a reputation for delivering an authentic and welcoming experience for metal fans of all ages.

Now in its seventh year, the event features a lineup of eight heavy Australian acts, showcasing the depth and diversity of the local metal scene.
