DESCRIPTION:The Beechworth Beer Run on Saturday 3 October 2026 is a uniquely Aussie event that blends trail running with a well-earned craft beer at the finish line. Hosted by Bridge Road Brewers\, this fun and social run celebrates both the beauty of the region and the art of brewing\, inviting participants to “get some ales with your trails.” Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just in it for the experience\, the event captures the laid-back\, community spirit that makes Beechworth such a standout destination. \nSet along the scenic Indigo Trail\, runners can choose from a range of distances to suit their pace and ambition. The 30km “Full Pint” kicks off in Yackandandah and winds its way into Beechworth\, while the 15km “Half Pint” offers a loop course around Lake Sambell. There’s also shorter 5km and 2.5km options\, making it accessible for all fitness levels. Along the way\, runners can enjoy a surprise aid station (yes\, including non-alcoholic beer)\, before crossing the finish line to claim their medal-and of course\, a free beer to celebrate. \nWith its mix of fitness\, flavour and fun\, the Beechworth Beer Run is more than just a race  it’s a memorable day out in Victoria’s High Country\, perfect for groups of friends\, couples\, or anyone keen to combine a love of the outdoors with great local brews.
