Nestled among these mountain ranges is the little town of Bright\, situated on the Ovens River and a short drive to Mt Hotham. The winter season in Bright is a picturesque period\, an ideal time to\nappreciate and celebrate the towns beauty . \nBrights Winter Festival – Winter in the Village will be happening end of July\, where visitors can experience the splendour of Bright during the winter season. Soak up the atmosphere that a small village offers over the two-day event with intimate shopping experience\, string-lit streets\, food vendors\, live music\, fire pits and lots of fun activities for the family. \nVisitors can experience the best Barnard Street has to offer with retailer discounts\, in store prizes and fabulous food and drinks. Santa will be coming to town to open the festivities and Bright Local Singers will be singing Christmas Carols. \nFood vans\, fire pits\, snow machine\, Santa photos and live music will be happening on Saturday night as everyone comes together to enjoy the beauty of Bright in winter. \nJoin in on the celebrations and shop\, sip\, eat and gather. \nThe event is a free social event for the community.
