Bright Alpine Climb

For more than 45 years, the Bright Alpine Climb – 4 Peaks has challenged walkers and trail runners to conquer four of Victoria’s most spectacular alpine peaks over four unforgettable days. Held across the Melbourne Cup long weekend, participants can take on one climb or complete all four, tackling the breathtaking trails of Mt Buffalo, Mt Feathertop, Mt Hotham and Mystic Hill while enjoying some of Australia’s most stunning mountain scenery.

Known for its friendly atmosphere and incredible alpine landscapes, 4 Peaks welcomes everyone from seasoned trail runners to recreational walkers looking for a personal challenge. Each day’s climb is individually timed, with cumulative results deciding the overall event for those completing all four peaks. Along the way, participants experience crisp mountain air, panoramic lookouts and the warm hospitality of Bright and the surrounding High Country communities.
